The Buildings and Bluegrass Tour

Participants joined the Fayette Alliance on May 17, 2008 and explored numerous renowned horse and general agriculture farms of Fayette County’s storied rural landscape, and several new innovative infill projects in downtown Lexington. Participants were given the opportunity to discover why responsible growth makes so much sense as they visited ARTEK Lofts, Castleton Lyons Farm, Cobra Farm, Mahan Farms, Winter Quarter Farm, Walnut Lawn Farm, Darley Farm, Juddmonte Farms, Brookfield Farm, and Dell Ridge Farm.

The 2008 Buildings and Bluegrass Tour was sponsored by Artek, Blue Grass Tours, Good Foods Market and Cafe, Hallway Feeds, Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, Lexington Suburban Women’s Club, Lexington Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and University of Kentucky Health Care.
