Stephanie Oghia

Stephanie Oghia is a long-time resident of Lexington and comes to Fayette Alliance with extensive nonprofit experience. Stephanie has worked for local nonprofits such as Ampersand Sexual Violence Center of the Bluegrass, Radio Eye, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass. She has also served on various nonprofit boards in the area, including Lexington Fairness, New Leaders Council Kentucky, AVOL Kentucky, and Moveable Feast. Stephanie was a 2014 Fellow of New Leaders Council Kentucky, a leadership program for young professionals. She is also not a stranger to community events, having co-chaired different event committees, including AVOL Kentucky’s Dining Out For Life, the Lexington Fairness Hall of Fame Awards, and Moveable Feast’s Fifteen-Year Anniversary Celebration. Currently, Stephanie serves on the Board of Friends of the Red River Gorge and volunteers with Radio Eye. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Parks and Recreation Administration and a Master’s of Science Degree in Sports Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. She was named Lexington Fairness 2013 Ally of the Year and was awarded the Imperial Court of Kentucky’s Community Service Award in 2014. When not at work, you can find Stephanie exploring Kentucky’s hiking trails with her rescue trail dog Ross, discovering Lexington, cheering on UK, cooking, or spending time with friends and her two other rescue dogs, Shaggy and Ori.
