Pottery Barn will open its first Lexington store at The Summit at Fritz Farm, now under construction at Nicholasville Road and Man o’ War Boulevard.
Pottery Barn sells upscale home furnishings and home décor. The chain also has stores at The Summit Birmingham in Alabama and The Summit Reno-Lake Tahoe in Nevada, all of which are developments of Birmingham-based Bayer Properties, which is developing the Lexington project.
“We’ve had the pleasure of working with Pottery Barn in a number of locations,” said David Silverstein, a principal at Bayer Properties. “I think the public will respond well.”
Also coming to the shopping center, scheduled to open in fall 2016, is a 125-seat restaurant owned by Midway-based chef Ouita Michel, Silverstein said.
