A giant portrait of Kentucky-born President Abraham Lincoln, possibly the largest and most colorful mural to grace downtown, is taking shape on the 60-foot-tall back wall of The Kentucky Theatre building.
The work of internationally known Brazilian artist Eduardo Kobra depicts the familiar image of Lincoln in his memorial in Washington, but in vivid colors. The project is a prelude to the third annual PRHBTN art festival, which gets fully underway Nov. 15 through 17 with live art, music, talks and more.
