The Urban County Council gave final approval Monday to an affordable housing apartment complex on North Limestone after a five-hour hearing.
The council passed the changes to the zoning unanimously. The Planning Commission had previously approved the zoning changes for the apartment complex in the 1000 block of North Limestone.
The $6 million Arlington Studios complex — which is two buildings, one on each side of the Embrace Church at 1015 N. Limestone — is tentatively scheduled to open in the summer of 2016.
