Construction of the Fifth Third Pavilion in Cheapside Park is expected to start in late November and be completed in April, in time for the opening of Lexington Farmers Market.
Plans for the structure — funded with a $750,000 donation to the Downtown Lexington Corporation Foundation — were announced Friday. SWITZER — A dam is being built around half of North Elkhorn Creek, just downstream from the historic Switzer Covered Bridge in Franklin County.
The ultimate goal: To bring Lexington more water.

A state board gave final approval Thursday to the Urban County Government’s plan for public improvements around the CentrePointe project in downtown Lexington.
