It’s been a big year for The Fayette Alliance. We’ve been busy transitioning from a fledgling non-profit to a bonafide organization. Between developing our strategic plan, increasing our fundraising initiatives, and staying on top of issues at city hall, we’ve been actively putting our house in order to ensure our continued success as the voice for sustainable growth in Lexington. After much deliberation, we’ve come to the conclusion that it is necessary to postpone Bike for the Bluegrass for the time being. With all of the changes we are making we simply have not been able to give this event the time and attention it deserves, which jeopardizes the unique experience this ride has provided. We will examine bringing Bike for the Bluegrass back in the future, but as for now, we will continue to focus on planning our world-class city and preserving our world-class Bluegrass landscape.
